This Custom Shed Plan gives you a layout tailored to your yard and how you’ll actually use the shed, while still following our proven gable-roof design so it’s easy to build and follow.

You get the flexibility where it matters (doors, windows, storage) without the risk of “making it up as you go.”

What you can customize

Within our standard Everyday Shed design, you choose:

• Wall height: 6' 6", 7', or 8' side walls
• Doors: size, style (single or double), and exact placement on the walls
• Windows: number, size, and placement for light and ventilation
• Shelves & lofts: locations and lengths so you can maximize storage for tools, bikes, seasonal items, etc.

What stays standard (for strength & simplicity)

To keep your build straightforward and structurally consistent, all custom plans use:

• Gable roof with 5/12 pitch
• 2x6 pressure-treated floor joists, 16" on center
• 2x4 wall framing, 24" on center

These standards are the same proven specs we use in our ready-made plans. You get customization without reinventing the structure.

2. Complete a quick design form (we’ll email it to you) with your wall height, door and window preferences, and shelf/loft needs.
3. We will reach out through a phone call or email to ensure the design fits your needs prior to finalizing the plans.
4. Our team designs your custom plan based on the Everyday Shed standard and sends your finished PDF to your inbox.
